The Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of the Environment have published two managerial decrees dedicated to Energy Efficiency Certificates / White Certificates:
Having obtained the green light from the European Commission, it was signed by the Minister of Economic Development, the Hon. Di Maio, and the Minister of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea, the Hon. Costa, the FER1 Decree, which aims to support - through incentives and procedures aimed at promoting effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability - the production of energy from renewable sources to reach the European targets at 2030 defined in the Integrated National Plan for Energy and Climate.
The 3 ° Annual Energy Efficiency Report was presented at the ENEA headquarters on 8 July. In the report it emerges that the energy requalification interventions have had a value from the 2007 of over 39 billion, of which 3,3 in the 2018.

on 21 June The European Commission has published the second set of recommendations for the national implementation of the 2018 / 844 EPBD Directive on the energy efficiency of buildings.
The recommendations relate to the theme of modernization of buildings and include guidelines on building automation and controls, electric mobility and inspections.
The European Commission has published its own Recommendation on the proposal for the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan of Italy for the 2021-2030.
In particular, the Commission believes that Italy should deepen the analysis of the consequences of the gradual decarbonisation on the energy security level of the Italian electricity market, clarifying the way in which to obtain the prospective greater penetration of renewable sources.
