next two years. Assocold represents the manufacturers of refrigeration equipment for trade, compressors
industrial refrigerators and refrigeration systems, federated with Assofoodtec / Anima. Mastrapasqua succeeds Marco
Nocivelli, President ANIMA from 5 last March.

The Anima Studies Office has prepared the 2018 preliminary data and the 2019 forecasts. In the 2018, refrigeration compressors recorded a positive trend in both production (+ 2,1%) and exports (+ 1,1%). The trend is expected to be confirmed also in 2019 (+ 1,6% as production and substantial stability for exports). The investments were very positive in the 2018 (+ 6,3%) and so in the 2019 as a forecast (+ 2,7%). Commercial refrigeration equipment shows very positive data both in 2018 (production at + 4,2% and exports at + 4,3%) and as forecasts for 2019 (production at + 4,3% and exports at + 3,3%). Investments were also good (+ 5,1% in 2018 and + 1,4% in 2019). The industrial refrigeration systems in the 2018 marked a + 0,8% in production and a + 0,8% in the item exports. In 2019, growth in production (+ 1,3%) and exports (+ 1,3%) is expected. The investments mark a + 2,1% in the 2018 and a substantial stability in the 2019.
After graduating in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications in Padua in the 1993, Francesco Mastrapasqua began his career as a commercial and marketing manager in the industrial automation sector. Since 1997 he has consolidated a wide experience in business development, international trade, key account and marketing in several leading multinational companies in the field of commercial refrigeration and Hvac. From 2009 to Epta, a multinational group specialized in commercial refrigeration, it deals with Natural Refrigeration and ecologically sustainable systems applied to food retail. In his current position as Advocacy & Regulatory Affairs Manager he is responsible for relations with institutions, spokesman and coordinator of various activities for defining and implementing new regulatory standards. He is also involved with various national and European governmental and non-governmental organizations in feeding the
dialogue on current topics relevant to the industry.
