New President of UNAC: Toni Cavalcante


The Assembly of UNAC members (Association of manufacturers of motorized fixtures and controls for doors and windows in general) elected him 6 April, the new President and Board of Directors who will manage the Association in the near term.
Toni Cavalcante succeeds Stefano Bonan Came Spa which deserve the thanks for their commitment and the work done during his tenure.

The Board of Directors will consist of: Giulio Faccin (Benincà spa) Vice President, Fabio Bertolino (Entrematic spa) and Luca Carnio (Came spa).

Cavalcante is a founding member of Topp Srl, a company that deals with automated systems for doors and windows.
Attentive to new technologies, he was involved in rapid prototyping and already in 1996 he managed one of the first companies that in Italy proposed 3D laser sintering technologies for prototyping and rapid product development.
Previously he gained more than five years of experience within the Askoll Group, holding various roles.

The new President Unac said: "Given that the Association is the leading Italian companies operating in the 'home automation, among the main objectives of the mandate, we see the need to pursue the activities related to participation in technical and regulatory work tables national and European level in order to become more and more the Italian reference for all professionals who deal with automation.
In line with our history also devote special attention to the professional installers function of our industry, which we intend to promote through the provision of innovative training tools tailored to their needs such as online training, we want to also be a a reference point for all operators who have to deal with the automation world, but sometimes do not know where to turn for a serious and authoritative approach in terms of product safety and certification in its specific context. "
