Definition
The hot air generators are devices intended for heating of medium to large volumes and find wide application in warehouses, shopping centers, factories. Conceptually are constituted by a burner fed with gas, oil or LPG whose combustion products pass through a heat exchanger generally consisting of finned tubes. On the outer surface of the heat exchanger is blown the air of the environment to be heated, by the action of a fan.
The hot air generators exchange heat with the environment primarily by forced convection, as the air sucked by the fan is heated in contact with the heat exchanger and is entered in the premises to be heated at a higher temperature than ambient.
The power can range from a few kW to several hundred kW, can be standing or hanging, with sends air or through direct channels.
