Il First Business Forum Italo AraboOrganized by the Joint Italian Arab Chamber (JIAC) under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development, it will gather over 300 participants between Ministers and authoritative representatives of the Institutions and the Italian and Arab economic-financial community.
The aim is to provide a further boost to economic relations between Italy and Arab countries; fully shared the desire to turn challenges into real opportunities for mutual development.
The issues dealt with during the various working sessions have aroused great interest, both for the recognized authoritativeness of the interlocutors involved and for the relevance of the sectors being studied in depth. In fact, at the prestigious headquarters of Palazzo Turati in Milan, guests of the Milan Chamber of Commerce, Monza Brianza and Lodi, there has been discussion of internationalization and growth in trade between Italy and Arab countries, with particular attention to the need to provide support concrete business, especially the Italian SME and the new Arab business, to encourage the development of new business. In this sense, it emerged that the ability to have a correct approach, even cultural, to such different markets, is decisive for achieving growth objectives.
The issue of energy diversification and the transformation of the so-called Oil & Gas Economies, which opens up new scenarios and business opportunities in the Renewable Energy sector, in which Italian companies can play a leading role is much debated. Perspectives in the Infrastructure and Tourism sectors are also promising, while textiles, manufacturing and the Luxury Goods sector in general, which involves numerous Made in Italy excellences, continues to drive our exports and still has ample room for development. The Forum also addressed the increasingly current issue of Islamic Finance as an engine and development tool for Italian companies. Particular attention was paid to the progress and changes that are affecting the financial services sector, with the creation of new products that, even in this area, are necessary to successfully meet the challenges to be faced. In addition to the institutional meetings between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the official delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain, there are dozens of meetings that took place in the margins of the conference and which animated the day making the event a real opportunity for sharing and development of business.
La Joint Italian Arab Chamber, remembering the contribution of the Union of Arab Chambers and Promos who collaborated with the organization, would like to thank all the institutions and embassies, both Italian and Arab, that have supported and taken part in the Forum, giving the event a prestige and a width of unmatched horizons. The JIAC also wishes to thank all the participants who have contributed to creating a real meeting point between Italy and the Arab countries, as well as applauding all the distinguished speakers and partners who have supported us and our sponsors: the Main Sponsor Intesa Sanpaolo, with us from the beginning, and the Major Sponsor, GK Investment Holding.
