On the occasion of the Italy-Tunisia Inter-Governmental Summit, Confindustria, ICE Agency and ABI organize - in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Economic Development - a Business Forum dedicated to cooperation between Italy and Tunisia.
The initiative, which will see Italian and Tunisian institutional participation, will be held in Tunis next April 30 and will represent an important opportunity to strengthen and deepen the commercial and industrial partnership opportunities that Tunisia offers to Italian companies.
There are many factors that make Tunisia one of the most attractive markets on the southern shores of the Mediterranean: geographical proximity, the network of trade agreements with the European Union, the new legislation on attracting foreign investments and local manufacturing manufacturing specializations above all in sectors with high added value.
The initiative will focus on the following industries:
· Agriculture, agricultural mechanics and technologies for food processing
· Textile mechanics
· Infrastructure and construction
· Energy Rinnovabili
The objective of the mission will be to deepen business opportunities especially in future projects developed by the Tunisian government in these key industrial sectors.
The work schedule will begin in Tunis late in the afternoon of the 29 April with a welcome moment at the Sheraton Tunis Hotel. On Tuesday 30 April the works will take place at the UTICA headquarters - Union Tunisienne de lindustrie, commerce and artisanat; in the morning, in-depth seminars will be organized in the 4 focus sectors followed by the Italy-Tunisia Business Forum in the afternoon, dedicated to political-economic relations between the two countries and to opportunities for collaboration and investment. The communication actions to facilitate contacts with local counterparts include the creation of a brochure dedicated to the participating Italian companies. For the editing, the information reported in the adhesion form will be used as inserted at the time of registration.

Organization and logistics
Participation in the mission is free; travel and accommodation expenses will be borne by each participant who will be responsible for independently making the relevant flight and hotel reservations.
For hotel reservations, the suggested structure is the Sheraton Tunis Hotel with which, on the occasion of the mission, an ad hoc convention was set up for the business delegation.

Formalities for entry into Tunisia
For the entry of Italian citizens in Tunisia is required passport valid for at least three months.
