The 1 and 2 April 2019 will be held in New York the 16 annual edition of the "EU-UN PROCUREMENT SEMINAR" (www.eupf.org), an event aimed at companies in the European Union seeking to become long-term suppliers of the United Nations.
The 'Procurement' of the United Nations generates a volume of contracts amounting to about 18,6 billion US $ a year.
The event, organized by the 'European Procurement Forum' (non-profit organization with the aim of promoting the participation of European companies in the United Nations 'Procurement'), it is dedicated to the following sectors:
• IT, cyber security and smart peacekeeping;
• Waste treatment and management;
• Energy and Power Generation;
• Environmental services and technologies and water treatment;
• Transportation and Logistics;
• Construction and Engineering
The main UN agencies (UNDP, UNICEF, UNOPS) and their "Buyers" with whom it will be possible to have bilateral meetings are invited to the event.
This year's event is particularly important because the organizational reforms recently implemented by the United Nations for the management of procurement will also be presented.
The organizational costs are borne by the participating companies that pay a participation fee upon registration.
Companies interested in participating can register through the site.
In place and in Brochures the conditions for participation and the related deadlines are indicated.
The last registration date for companies NOT interested in one-to-one meetings is the 15 March 2019.
It is suggested to also carefully consult the section 'General Q & A'.
Further information can be requested from the EUPF organizers.
