the right energy for gas conditioning

The MiSE - Ministry of Economic Development - published the third series of FAQs "CLARIFICATIONS IN THE FIELD OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN BUILDING"Concerning the application of the Ministerial Decrees of the 26 2015 (implementation of the 90 / 2013 Act, which in turn incorporates the European directive 2010 / 31 / CE on energy performance in buildings).
In particular the 3.19 FAQ goes to fill the gap in the formula in the 1 Annex of Legislative Decree 28 / 2011, which unfairly discriminated the technology of gas conditioning.
As noted the Legislative Decree 28 / 2011 prescribes today that the 50% of the thermal requirement of buildings is satisfied by renewable energy. This value is certainly challenging and designers today need all the tools available to achieve it. However an incorrect evaluation of the energy captured by the gas heat pumps - for a lack in the annex - it made their application unjustly difficult.
Finally, today the evaluation of renewable energy captured by gas heat pumps is evaluated equally.
In short, the method for calculating the share of renewable energy captured by the heat pump (indicated in the 1 annex of Legislative Decree 28 / 2011) is carried out in this way:
- For electric heat pumps, the calculation is made on the COP, ie on the basis of the electricity consumed by the heat pump, then on the basis of the final energy of the same.
- For gas heat pumps, the calculation is now to be performed on the basis of the GUE, divided by the average national conversion yield, thus putting the two technologies on the same level.
The previous distortion was finally corrected, which evaluated the electrical pdc on the basis of the final energy and the gas ones on the basis of the primary energy.
For comparison, consider that already the 16 DM February 2016 "Thermal Account", at the 2 Annex, 2 paragraph, correctly computed the final energies for both technologies.
To eliminate what seems to be an error also linked to the age of the provision (the 28 Directive "FER" from which the D.Lgs. 28 / 2011 derives from the 2009) Climgas, collaborating with CTI - Italian Thermotechnical Committee, has prepared a specific FAQ (the 3.19) to correctly compute the FER share from heat pumps to gas, and now published by the MiSE on its site.
