HOST 2017 - The absolute leading trade fair in the Ho.Re.Ca sector, foodservice, retail, GDO and hotellerie - has closed the 40 ^ edition with a notable success confirmed by the 187.602 professional visitors (+ 24,3% compared to 2015), of which 38,8% international from 177 Countries and 2.165 exhibitors from 52 Countries with Italian 1.322 (+ 4,4%) and foreign 843 (+ 13,4%)

Among the most represented countries: Europe, China, USA, Russia and the Middle East, as well as Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Polynesia and other African countries (Botswana, Burundi, Eritrea, Rwanda and Zimbabwe).

Assofoodtec, representing the Slicers, Mincers and Related Manufacturers - Manufacturers of Refrigeration Systems / Refrigeration Equipment for Trade - UCIMAC Manufacturers of Espresso Machines and Bar Equipment Manufacturers - UCMA Manufacturers of Machines for the Food Industry - Ovens, Machines and Plants for Bread, biscuits, pastry and pizza - Builders Washing Equipment - Vending Technologies Builders-Confida, took part in the Food-Technology Lounge with ANIMA Federation and the Aqua Italia, Fiac and Uida Associations, together with Efcem Italia and in collaboration with Eurovent Association, ICIM and ICE.

Successful workshops and events in the area of ​​Food Technologies: from vending technologies to the Horeca sector in terms of safety, hygiene and energy consumption standards for Europe and the USA, from legislation to certification of materials in contact with food. Technical and informational B2Bs were also held, as well as demonstrations in augmented reality by ICIM.
