The attention on this country is high not only for the fact that DUBAI will be the protagonist of EXPO 2020, but for all the induced that this futuristic exhibition project brings with it.
Meanwhile, the constantly expanding trend of the Italian trade balance vis-à-vis the UAE continues. The UAE market is in fact the leading outlet market for Italian companies in the Middle East area: in the 2017, Italian exports to the Emirates exceeded 5,3 billion euros.
Among the most significant data among the sales, a real surge has been recorded in the sector's exports machinery (general purpose machines + 48,3%, other general purpose machines + 29%, household machinery + 17,7%). Other interesting data are those deriving from the refining of oil (+ 63%), soaps, detergents and cosmetics (+ 15,6%), motor vehicles (+ 6,4) and precious metals which, although with absolute values contained, have gone from 10 to 47 million euros with an increase of 363, 8%.
The data are positive and prospective, but exporting to the Emirates deserves a development project that carefully evaluates several aspects: even at the customs level there are behavioral rules to be respected and facts to be known, otherwise even the best business plan runs the risk of running aground.
