The Ministry of Economic Development initiated the conciliation procedure with the Ministry for the Environment and Protection of the Territory and the Sea for the corrective decree on the "White Certificates" and for the draft decree that will regulate, for the three-year period 2018-2020, the stimulation of electric renewables closer to competitiveness.
The corrective decree 'White certificates' follows previous verification actions on the regularity of the market trend promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development as early as November 2016. Among the objectives, that of favoring a greater offer of Certificates, introducing in particular a review of the project evaluation methodology and the increase of the types of eligible projects, and a greater simplification and transparency of the mechanism.
As regards the scheme for decree on electric renewables, it will be a question of setting the access modality to incentives, mainly resorting to competitive procedures based on economic criteria. Following the consultation with the Ministry for the Environment and Protection of the Territory and the Sea, a discussion will be launched with the Regions, the Energy Authority and the European Commission.
