Companies that sell abroad must necessarily know these tools in order to use them in the most appropriate manner both from a contractual and a technical banking point of view.

The workshop will deal with the subject in operative terms examining texts and practical cases, proposing effective solutions and analyzing the most salient aspects that should not be underestimated.

The objective is to allow participating companies to negotiate, through the support of their lawyer and their bank, the most suitable texts for commercial development and the protection of their interests.

• The ICC discipline: URDG 758 / 2010 and ISP98 590 / 1998 for Standby Credit Letters (SBLC).

• The enforcement of the international bank guarantee and the current jurisprudential guidelines
• Features and stakeholders
• The ICC discipline: UCP 600 / 2007 and International Uniform Banking Practice (ISBP 745 / 2013)
• The characteristics of abstraction, autonomy and formalism
• Critical issues related to the documentation to be presented: invoice, transport document and insurance
• The main phases of the operation: confirmation, modification, expiration, refusal of the service
• Examination of texts and practical cases.
