4.0 Industry - Competence Center Ranking

The Ministry of Economic Development, completed the review and evaluation of the applications received, published, last May 24, the provisional ranking Competence Center, in which we find the leaders: Politecnico di Torino, Polytechnic of Milan, Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna , Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, University of Padua, University of Naples "Federico II", National Research Council, University of Rome "La Sapienza".

 

At this point the Ministry will start a comparison and a negotiation with the eight parties and, at the end of the procedure, will proceed to the adoption of the concession decree containing the commitments to beneficiaries also with regard to the objectives, timing and implementation 'scheduled activity, the indication of expenses and eligible costs, the conditions for revocation or the termination of benefits and the possible application of penalties in case of default and transmit the decree to the proposing subject.

 

Recall that the Ministry has allocated, for 73 million euros for start-up activities and for projects of innovation, industrial research and experimental development

 

Function of the Competence Centers

The Competence Centers will have to carry out guidance and training activities for companies as well as support in the implementation of innovation projects, industrial research and experimental development aimed at the realization, by the users, in particular of SMEs, of new products, processes or services (or their improvement) through advanced technologies in the 4.0 industry
