On the subject of the authorization procedure for Excess Chromium, the CTACsub Consortium made available the announced "Good Practice / Task Sheets" (GPS) documents.
This is a series of documents prepared by members of the Consortium in order to support users of chromium trioxide in introducing and maintaining "good practices" for the use and handling of the substance in their work environments. the information contained in these documents will make it easier for users to apply compulsory prevention measures for carcinogens according to the national and European laws on safety at work.
In addition, by applying the prescriptions contained in GPS documents, users should be able to comply with the authorizations required by the CTACSub REACH consortium for chromium trioxide currently awaiting confirmation by the European Commission "
