In the next days a technical seminar on the theme of Green Neighborhoods will take place in Beirut (3 and 4 May 2018).
The initiative is part of the activities to support the Italian private sector that the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea carries on in Lebanon in collaboration with the LCEC - Lebanese Center for Energy Saving - partner of the agreement bilateral cooperation on sustainable development issues.
The meeting, organized with the technical-logistical support of UNIDO ITPO, will be an opportunity to promote a very topical debate on Lebanon, on business opportunities related to urban redevelopment in the country, thanks to the integration of the social, economic and environment in creating sustainable neighborhoods.
The event will be developed through the organization of targeted round tables, which will involve Italian developers, architects and planners, who will present the most significant experiences made in Italy deepening policies, financial instruments, technologies and use of innovative materials.
There will be Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) sessions for Italian companies that will join the initiative, in order to facilitate the comparison and strengthening of collaborations between the Lebanese and Italian business system.
