ALBANIA: FIAA, justice reform affects the business climate

The business environment and the functioning of justice institutions, in addition to the economic situation of the country, are among the main concerns expressed during the presentation of the survey conducted by 'Association of foreign investors (FIAA), Made public on Wednesday February 16 2017 in Tirana.

The 64% of the companies interviewed declared that the business climate in Albania is unfavorable, while the 70% of them have expressed themselves against the compulsory enrollment in the Chamber of Commerce.

Foreign investors in Albania ask for more guarantees and particularly a functional judicial system to strengthen their activities in Albania. In the opinion of foreign investors the realization of a great extent judicial reform will affect economic conditions in the coming years and will have a considerable weight in the current decisions related to investments.
