Egypt first in Africa for attraction investments

The 42% of foreign investments directed to Africa is destined for Egypt and the phenomenon is expected to increase. In 2017, foreign direct investments in the country have been estimated at 7,4 billion dollars, according to COMESA RIA data - Regional Investment Agency, and the forecasts speak of their growth thanks to incentives, fiscal support and the intervention of technical intermediaries from the 'law on investments in Egypt'.

This is what emerges on the first day in Rome of 'Italy Africa Business Week', the Forum created to develop business opportunities and economic, commercial and financial cooperation agreements between Africa and Italy, now in its second edition and attended by the Ambassador of Egypt in Italy, Badr Hisham Mohamed.
