The mission, led by Undersecretary for Economic Development, Ivan Scalfarotto, will be an important opportunity to deepen commercial and investment opportunities for Italian companies in a market that offers an increasingly favorable climate for foreign investors and wider spaces for many of our productions of excellence.
Mission Focus Areas: WATER - FOOD - GREEN TECH - INFRASTRUCTURE
Confindustria, in collaboration with ICE-Agency, ABI and the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Economic Development, organizes an Entrepreneurial Mission to Vietnam from 27 to the 29 next November.
The initiative, which will address the cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, will be led by Undersecretary for Economic Development, Ivan Scalfarotto, and will be multi-sectoral.
The reforms implemented by the Vietnamese authorities in recent years focus mainly on the repositioning of national production in the value chain, by enhancing the development of technological content and by promoting an ambitious infrastructure upgrading plan. This orientation offers Italian companies significant opportunities for investment and collaboration through quality, product technology and leadership in a number of compartments that distinguish our businesses.
The November mission aims at deepening the tools to access or consolidate the presence in the Vietnamese market in light of the potential offered by the industrial parks in the country and the forthcoming entry into force of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
The agenda will include, for the Hanoi stage, the organization of a Institutional Forum, sectoral workshops for in-depth study, institutional meetings and B2B between Italian and Vietnamese companies. The Ho Chi Minh stage will be dedicated to a plenary session in the presence of local authorities to follow institutional meetings and business meetings between B2B.
