WTO 2019 (Ravenna 27-29 March)

As in the 2017 ANIMA Confindustria participates with a collective of companies. The important element of novelty that characterizes the edition of this will be the presence of ICE Agenzia at the exhibition stand, specifically dedicated to international business and corporate b2bs. More 20 buyers are expected to arrive from all over the world.

OMC is not born in Ravenna by chance. After the discovery of deposits in the 50 years, the city established itself as a solid oil district and as a natural meeting point between two large continents (Europe and Africa) confirming the role
of Italy as a bridgehead in the flow of energy that passes through the Mediterranean from the southern producing countries to northern consumers.

The Offshore Mediterranean Conference and Exhibition (OMC) is set up in the 1993 on the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of Ravenna, Assomineraria and the Ravenna Association of Offshore Operators (ROCA), with the aim of creating an arena of confrontation for the Italian, European and international energy industry. Proof of this is the presence at OMC of all the major European oil companies, from North Africa and the Middle East. With the passing of the years, the WTO becomes the most important international oil & gas event in the Mediterranean basin and celebrates its first 20 years of activity in the 2013 edition.

The 2017 edition of OMC confirms the international relevance of the event with the participation of the Ministers of 6 Countries (Italy, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Iraq, Lebanon), as well as CEO, executives, researchers, consultants of the energy industry.
