Project Belt & Road Confindustria: Roadshow upcoming meetings

In the framework of Belt & Road project Confindustria is planning some initiatives: the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping, in March; participation in the 10 ° International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum of CHINCA (China International Contractors Association), Macao 30 and 31 May, the organization of joint seminars Italy-China in the countries identified as priorities along the B & R.

In order to ensure the proper involvement of companies in these important events and prepare them for the business meetings scheduled on these occasions, Confindustria will 5 meetings on Italian territory in the week from 18 to 22 February 2019:

- 18 February MILAN with Assolombarda Confindustria Milan, Monza, Brianza, Lodi
- 19 February BOLOGNA with Confindustria Emilia Area Centro
- 20 February TURIN with Unione Industriale Torino
- 21 February ROME in Confindustria
- 22 February VERONA with Confindustria Verona

These meetings are mainly aimed at SMEs operating in the provision of goods and services in the infrastructure sector and major works (roads, railways, ports, airports, commercial and social buildings, large industrial plants, energy, environment, water treatment), to which the prospects of collaboration in projects underway and under development, Chinese or local governments, will be presented in the three focus countries: Egypt, Kazakhstan and Georgia.

The meetings, to which the programs are attached, will include representatives of the Italian diplomatic network and of the ICE offices abroad as well as experts and business managers working in the fields of plant engineering, engineering and energy to share scenarios, opportunities and strategies.
The meetings will have a purely operational cut and the associations are asked to give maximum diffusion to their members, with particular reference to the sectoral target we address.
