Confindustria Serbia is organizing the "Italy-Serbia: sustainable, green and circular economy" forum that will be held next 26 and 27 November in Belgrade.
The event, under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Serbia, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Serbia, is the first initiative, organized in the country, on the theme of the circular economy.
The aim of the Forum is to present to potential investors, on 26 November, 22 projects developed by the National Research Center (CNR) and already approved by the Government of Serbia on the basis of the agreement signed in January of the 2015 between the CNR and the Serbian Ministry dedicated to the implementation of innovative projects for the development and modernization of the country's agro-industrial and environmental sectors.
On the basis of this agreement, through the implementation of the aforementioned projects, Italy is at the forefront of providing assistance in terms of industrialization, in particular, in the following two sectors:
-Agriculture and food;
- Green chemistry and environmental protection
The 22 projects will be presented in depth during the first day of the forum while the November 27 will be dedicated to a B2B meeting session during which Italian companies will meet potential Serbian partners and discuss with the representatives of the financial institutions interested in providing support for the industrialization of the proposed projects and innovations.
In addition to the program, there is attached a concept note of the initiative and a card with a brief description of the projects that will be presented.
