What are the new lanes of Italian exports and which countries of destination for our technologies?
It was spoken to Milan the 13 December al Smart Export Forum organized by ANIMA / Confindustria.
In the presence of institutional stakeholders, entrepreneurs and journalists, the Italian mechanical industry exported at various points, highlighting its advantages and criticalities.
There was a voice for the companies, who witnessed firsthand how export represented a fundamental part of their business in the most difficult years of the crisis and was the driving force for the economic recovery.
In his introductory speech, the President of ANIMA Alberto Caprari has drawn up a macroeconomic picture of exports, highlighting a significant figure: in the first half of 2017 a + 3,6% was registered in trade with foreign countries compared to the same period of 2016. This testifies to how much Italian technology is appreciated in the world for innovation, quality, flexibility and seriousness. Among the countries that have most requested Italian technology, the United States and Russia are at the top. Export data to Saudi Arabia, Poland and Iran are also positive.
Alberto Fortis, Vice President of the Edison Foundation, intervened by presenting and commenting on the film "Uniqueness and Excellence of the Italian Manufacture", to which ANIMA Federation has contributed with the members' case histories: CAPRARI, CIMBERIO, EPTA.
It was followed by the Entrepreneurial Round Table on the theme "What does it mean to export today" in which they participated Alberto Rota (ROTA GUIDO), Roberto Noseda (Tenaris) Giacomo Zeni (FONDITAL) Vincenzo Grassi (PwC), Fulvio Liberatore (Easy Frontier). In the following interview with two institutional exponents, between Michele Scannavini (President ITA / ICE) e Vincenzo De Luca (Promotion Director of the Country / MAECI System) moderated by Alberto Caprari, discussion was held on the role of the institutions in favor of exports.
