The public consultation on the Procurement Code is on line from today until the next 10 September 2018, on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport
The consultation is preparatory to a reform proposal that the government intends to present in the autumn.
The aim of the reform intervention is to guarantee the efficiency of the public contracts system, to proceed with the simplification of the regulatory framework, ensuring clarity, eliminating the critical issues on the regulatory level and, consequently, on the application plan.
Online consultation, (http://consultazioni.mit.gov.it/) is carried out on a series of first topics of reflection, separately proposed with reference to topics briefly indicated, preceded by the precise indication of the normative reference within the Code, in an interactive format.
The topics submitted for consultation, although indicated in a deliberately neutral form where possible, represent as many emergence points of the most urgent critical issues detected during the constant monitoring carried out by the Ministry during the first two years of the Code, or reported to the Ministry by a wide range of stakeholders, including trade associations, study and research foundations, self-employed professionals, other public administrations.
