The potential candidates of the Mario Unnia Prize are the companies that daily combine innovative and predictive abilities by making their vision a "talent" and creating value for the territory and for the country.
The event aims to increase the visibility, even internationally, of Italian talented companies and further enhance them in the Business Community. Membership of the initiative is free. Full rules on www.bdo.it ("Mario Unnia Prize" section).
Unlisted corporations and / or private companies with a turnover at 31 December 2018 (ie at the balance sheet date other than the calendar year) higher than 10 million and that present the following characteristics with reference to the annual and / or consolidated financial statements of the last 3 years:
• positive economic indicators (gross operating margin, pre-tax result and net result) • that have not been subject to bankruptcy proceedings • that have not dealt with debt restructuring procedures, including out-of-court procedures
For the innovative start-up / SME category, companies can apply: • only with registered office in Italy • active from no more than 60 months (valid only for start-ups) • with exclusive or prevalent corporate purpose, development, the production and marketing of innovative products or services with a high technological value • whose total annual production value, starting from the second year of activity, does not exceed 10 million euros.
REGISTRATION AND SELECTION PROCEDURES Companies must complete the application form online on the site www.bdo.it, or download it and send it by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by registered mail to the Award Organizing Secretariat. Nominations for the Mario Unnia Prize can be submitted from 6 in March to 31 in May 2019.
The award ceremony will take place on 24 June 2019 at Palazzo Mezzanotte, headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange, in Piazza degli Affari in Milan. The Jury, an independent body made up of well-known exponents of the economic-financial, institutional and media panorama, will have the task of examining the applications in order to reach the definition of the companies to be awarded. The judgment of the Jury will be final and unquestionable.

A winner will be awarded for each category listed here. Among the 7 category winning companies, the Jury will select the overall winner of the Mario Unnia Prize for the 2019 edition.
