On October 30, ECHA organized a workshop to illustrate and clarify the content of the public consultation on the SEAC opinion on the proposed restriction of PFAS substances, scheduled for adoption in March 2026. ECHA also provided practical guidance on how to submit an effective and high-quality contribution, outlining the type of information required, the expected level of detail, and how to participate in the consultation.

This topic will be the subject of the next plenary meeting of the Environmental Technical Group (GET), scheduled for December 18, 2:30–4:00 PM, online.
