AVR constantly monitors the evolution of international regulations and scenarios also through the creation of moments of discussion with decision makers to bring the most relevant technical issues for the valves and taps sector.
The RoHS delegated directives for Pack 22 regarding lead exemptions were published on November 21. The deadlines confirm those already foreseen in the adopted directives: June 30, 2027, and December 31, 2027. As announced, exemptions 7(a) and 7(c)-I have been split. For the revoked exemptions, the transition period is set for December 11, 2026 for 6(a) and 6(b)-I, while for 6(b) and 6(b)-II, it is set for June 11, 2027 (the latter valid only for Category 1–7 and 10 equipment). ANIMA, together with the Umbrella Project, will continue preparing the applications for renewal of the exemptions expiring on June 30, 2027, which must be submitted by mid-December 2025. T
