Launched structured dialogues 2025-27 with EU member-states on November 11, 2025

The European Commission has launched a series of structured water dialogues, at both technical and political levels, with Member States as part of the European Water Resilience Strategy.

Led by Jessika Roswall, Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, together with ministers responsible for water management, the dialogues will take place in each EU country between 2025 and 2027.

This initiative will enable the Commission to support Member States in implementing specific recommendations to improve water management by 2027, specifically addressing water efficiency, water scarcity, and flood prevention.
