UNAC members meet to discuss technical and regulatory issues, statistics, participation in trade shows, promotional initiatives, and strategies to better position themselves in the market.
The harmonization at the European level of standards relating to motorized doors and gates (and their individual components) and the need to design and manufacture products that comply with the essential safety requirements set forth in the various applicable directives (LVD, EMC, and R&TTE for components; EMC, Machinery, and Construction Products for the finished product) has led us to commit to technical standardization activities.
Statistical Surveys
In the sector of motorized window and door systems and automation, semi-annual surveys are conducted to track the volume and trends of products sold in Italy and abroad, providing detailed data on components for each type of gate considered, along with forecasts for the coming period.
Specifically, the survey tracks revenue, exports, employment levels, investments, and price changes in the sector. The survey is open to both members and non-members of the Association and is accompanied by graphs and summary tables. Access to these surveys is free for members.
Training
The Association has a working group that develops an information and training program on new technical and regulatory developments from Europe. Manufacturers, distributors, installers, specifiers, and end-users are invited to attend these informational sessions.
We also organize training courses for installers at member companies to provide in-depth theoretical knowledge about the products represented by the association, as well as to launch an important practical initiative for the entire supply chain.
