In the regulatory field
Currently, among the numerous draft standards under consideration, many of which will become harmonised standards under the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC, particular attention is being paid to the following:
- revision of EN 179:2001 Emergency exit devices
- revision of EN 1125:2001 Panic exit devices for emergency exits
- prEN 13633 Electrically controlled panic exit systems
- prEN 13637 Electrically controlled emergency exit systems
- prEN 1303 Cylinders for locks
- prEN 12209 Locks
The work of TG 6, for the drafting of a standard for 'spring hinges for fire doors', and TG 17, for the drafting of a standard for hardware products for use by disabled persons, followed with the same commitment.
