External and international relations

The External Relations division maintains ongoing relationships with domestic and international institutions, such as the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italian embassies and consulates around the world, foreign embassies and consulates in Italy, and foreign business associations, some of with which it has established mutual cooperation agreements for events and trade fairs.

Creation of added value, growth and market competitiveness for the companies and sectors that it represents, by fostering direct contact with the reference stakeholders.

Advantages

Creation and constant monitoring of constructive relationships with key subjects, such as institutions, decision-making bodies, Ministries, regulatory bodies, major domestic and international players, and municipalities.

Tools

Development of effective tools for promoting the Italian Mechanical Engineering industry, events,L’Industria Meccanica, magazine, dedicated newsletters, conventions, and sponsorships in line with the specific needs of the membership base.

Federative and institutional events

ANIMA Winter Assembly (February)– first institutional event of the year dedicated to sharing the strategic outlook of the Federation and the General Assembly - Discussion of priority topics for mechanical engineering companies and awareness-raising on proposals made for the promotion of the sector, with the involvement of institutional and political subjects.

Associative events

Conferences, meetings and specific follow-up meetings for updating, informational and training purposes. The topics cover the energy sector, food industry technologies, lifting and handling technologies, etc. These initiatives allow companies in the industry, including those that aren’t members, to appreciate the role and value of the ANIMA associations, which work with the institutional and regulatory bodies every day to protect and promote the various sectors, even by conducting campaigns dedicated to improving the Italian mechanical engineering industry’s technologies.

Workshops

The constant need to update the skills of managers and operators has led to the planning of specific Workshops on current issues, in order to guarantee tools and opportunities for professional growth.

Agreements and partnerships

Agreements with companies capable of offering specific business solutions to members. Sponsorships for initiatives and trade fairs, in order to provide the companies with greater visibility and representation, even indirectly for the dissemination of the most important issues.
