RoHS DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU - Open Scope Application to pumps and pumping systems

As of 22 July 2019, many electrical and electronic equipment (AEE) from the world of pumps and pumping systems fall within the scope of the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU1 and its Italian transposition decree (Legislative Decree No. 272 of 14 March 2014) as they fall under the broad category 11 "Other AEE not included in the categories listed above".

All AEE - except those falling under the specific exclusions - placed on the EU market from 22 July 2019 must comply with the provisions on the restriction of certain substances deemed hazardous to human health and the environment.
