Founded in 1973 as the Union of Finishing Plants Manufacturers (UCIF), the association represents over 50% of the Italian production of machines and systems dedicated to surface treatment (painting, washing, shot blasting systems and machines, air / water purification systems , handling, automation and robotics).
UCIF is historically part of ANIMA Confindustria, which represents Italian mechanics within Confindustria system. UCIF's representative sector has around 2,050 employees for an annual turnover of over 725 million euros and a consolidated export share of around 69%.
The relationships with ANIMA ensure UCIF wide visibility on the international scene, presence in the sector tables, greater collegial strength.
