Terex Italia srl è una società sottoposta a direzione e coordinamento di Terex Corporation – USA.
Dal 7 Maggio 2014 Terex Italia ha incorporato la società Terexlift parte della divisione Genie di Terex Corp. e si articola quindi ora sulle due sedi di Valsamoggia - loc. Crespellano (BO) e Umbertide (PG). Terex Italia Srl, nata come Bendini, è una società leader nella progettazione, produzione e distribuzione di autogrù fuoristrada e gru cingolate telescopiche e nella distribuzione in Italia di gru multistrada e cingolate a braccio a traliccio, facente parte della divisione Terex Cranes di Terex Corporation. Bendini SpA nasce nel 1968 a Crespellano, in provincia di Bologna, fondata dal Sig. Elio Bendini, che ha fatto crescere l’azienda nel corso degli anni rendendo il marchio Bendini un nome importante nel settore delle gru mobili, in particolare in Italia, come punto di riferimento per le gru fuoristrada.
Il secondo passo fondamentale, nella continua crescita della Società, è stata la firma del contratto che, nel 1989, ha portato Bendini a far parte del gruppo PPM, leader nella produzione francese di gru mobili.
Un altro passo importante nella storia dell’azienda ha avuto luogo nel 1995, quando PPM entrò a far parte di Terex. Nel novembre 1999 la Società, il cui nome, nel frattempo, era stato trasformato in PPM SpA, divenne Terex Italia Srl.
Dopo l’acquisizione di Demag Mobile Cranes da parte di Terex nel 2002, che ha portato la famosa azienda con sede a Zweibrucken in Germania, con il suo importante know-how e la sua ampia gamma di prodotti, a far parte del gruppo Terex Cranes, Terex Italia ha acquisito nel corso dello stesso mese di Ottobre la parte italiana di Demag Mobile Cranes e trasferito le relative attività (vendita e assistenza post vendita) nella sua sede a Crespellano.
Genie fu fondata nel 1966 a Seattle e acquisita da Terex Corporation nel 2002. Nel 2003-04 Genie unisce le forze con altri gruppi Terex per diventare il segmento Terex AWP. As of 7th of May 2014, Terex Italia incorporated Terexlift srl, which is part of Genie division of Terex Corporation; it is now structured into two facilities, Valsamoggia – loc. Crespellano (BO) and Umbertide (PG). Terex Italia Srl, born as Bendini, is a leading Company in the design, manufacturing and distribution of rough terrain cranes and telescopic crawler cranes and in the distribution in Italy of all terrain and lattice crawler cranes, being part of the Terex Cranes group of Terex Corporation. Bendini SpA was born in 1968 in Crespellano, near Bologna, founded by Mr Elio Bendini, who grew the Company along the years making the Bendini brand an important name in the sector of mobile cranes, particularly in Italy, as a reference point for the rough terrain cranes.
The second basic step, in the continuous growth of the Company, was the signature of the contract that, in 1989, brought Bendini to become part of the PPM Group, a leading French manufacturer of all terrain cranes.
Another important step in our Company’s history took place in 1995, when PPM became part of Terex. In November 1999 the Company, whose name in the meantime was changed into PPM SpA, became Terex Italia Srl.
Following the acquisition of Demag Mobile Cranes by Terex in 2002, that brought the famous Company based in Zweibrucken, with its important know-how and its wide product range, to become part of the Terex Cranes Group; Terex Italia acquired in October 2002 the Italian division of Demag Mobile Cranes and transferred the operations (sales and after sales service) in its headquarters in Crespellano.
Genie was founded in 1966 in Seattle - USA and was acquired by Terex Corporation in 2002. In 2003-2004 Genie joins forces with other Terex groups to become the Terex AWP business segment.
