AVR, representing and protecting member-companies, carries out its activity in several fields, ranging from the technical-regulatory field to the marketing-fair to internationalization.
AVR carries out proselytizing activities as an increase in the membership base will increasingly improve its representativeness and specific weight towards the institutions.
AVR, starting from 2023, thanks to the support of its partner ANIMA Easyfrontier, has directly committed itself to monitoring and resolving the critical issues resulting from the subsequent packages of economic sanctions imposed by the EU against Russia, also intervening actively at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure that some types of valves were not included in dual use.
The Association has significantly expanded its membership base in recent years, reaching 70 members at the end of 2023.
An ever-increasing representation is also an indicator of the contractual weight of the Association towards the Institutions, with which it can assert its requests in favor of the members.

EXHIBITIONS 2026
- KBIS Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (Orlando, USA, 17-19 February) is North America’s largest and most prestigious trade show dedicated to kitchen and bath design. This immersive event brings together 650 exhibitors showcasing the latest products, trends, and technologies in nearly 500,000 square feet of exhibit space. KBIS is promoted by NKBA, the American association of the sector that signed a partnership with AVR
- MCE Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (Fiera Milano Rho, 24-27 March) is the international tradeshow where companies in the HVAC+R, renewable energy and water world meet new customers and strengthen relationships with those who design, install and build plants and systems for comfort in the industrial, residential and commercial sectors. ANIMA Federation, along with some associations of the branch – among which AVR - exhibit al the Fair, thanks to a long-lasting partnership with MCE.
- IVS Industrial Valve Summit (Bergamo, 19-21 May) is the leading international event for the Oil&Gas valve technologies and flow control solutions. AVR, thanks to a partnership with the Exhibition, , will attend at a own stand as in the previous editions, in representation of industrial valve members.
- INTERNATIONAL BATHROOM EXHIBITION 2026 (Fiera Milano Rho, 21-26 April) Biennial Exhibition dedicated to the bathroom universe, within the Salone del Mobile. Many AVR members manufacturing design sanitary taps and showers, will attend the meeting.
- CERSAIE (Bologna, 21-25 September) - Annual ceramic and sanitary ware fair, where many companies of the Sanitary Taps sector exhibit.
- VALVE WORLD EXPO (Düsseldorf, 1-3 December) International biennial show of industrial valves, which find application in several branches ranging from Oil&Gas to Marine & Offshore Industry, Water and Waste Water Management, Automative and mechanical Engineering, Power Station Technology and Green alternatives.
