UCT activities

The primary objective of UCT is to examine and resolve issues specific to the sector and to safeguard the interests of industry enterprises from economic, technical, and legal standpoints

UCT ensures that its members are represented on behalf of the turbine sector at the most important EU and international forums. The Union of Turbine Manufacturers serves as a platform for Italian companies operating in the steam and gas turbine power generation market to meet and exchange ideas. In fact, UCT carries out technical, regulatory, and legislative activities through the participation of its representatives in the work of UNI, CEN, and ISO.

UCT participates in the development of product standards and in working groups tasked with developing and interpreting directives and regulations relevant to the turbine sector. Through the Federation, the Association is thus able to carry out significant lobbying efforts at both the national and European levels.

Another objective is to examine and resolve issues specific to the sector and to protect the economic, technical, and legal interests of companies in the industry.

Market monitoring

The Association is well-positioned to cultivate ongoing relationships with institutional representatives, engaging in lobbying efforts regarding incentives for turbines within the framework of energy efficiency and white certificates. At the same time, the UCT Association is addressing issues related to the "Growth" Decree, the National Energy Strategy, and Industry 4.0.

Training

UCT is part of Anima Confindustria and, as such, can benefit from Confindustria’s representation before the authorities as well as from all the agreements and services it offers. Thanks to ANIMA’s training programs, UCT members participate in conferences, study days, seminars, and technical workshops on topics of specific or general interest to businesses.
