UCT provides information, training, and consulting services covering all aspects of the activities of Italian companies operating in the steam and gas turbine power generation market.
Regarding technical activities, the Association provides an information service concerning relevant regulations, continuously monitoring their evolution.
By participating in relevant working groups at both the national and European levels (CTI, CEN, and ISO Technical Committees), UCT has the opportunity to contribute to the drafting and/or revision of technical standards. A key aspect of UCT’s work involves formulating official positions on the various issues analyzed—positions that are shared across the sector.
We provide our members with information on all matters relevant to their operations and, through our delegates, participate in the development of international technical standards within the following working groups:
- ISO TC/192 "Gas turbines"
- ISO TC/208 "Thermal turbines for industrial application (steam turbines and gas expansion turbines)"
- ISO TC/108 "Mechanical vibration and shock"
